The wreck of the cargo ship Madeirense in Porto Santo, about a mile off shore and some 34 metres below the surface, teems with sea-spiders, anemones and all manner of marine life and makes an ideal focal point for a dive. There are also off shore reefs nearby and even an archaeological dive to see ancient cannons.
